A tablecloth, ritually dyed with a pattern of wine stains. Inspired by the pure white linens common to many Jewish homes, Mappa comments on the ancient ritual of Shmita (sabbath year). Rather than treating the inevitable stains from a Yontif observance as blemishes to be removed at all costs, Mappa celebrates them.
