Over the years, I have had the strange good fortune of receiving hundreds of email messages from people who are trying to reach someone else named Rachel Berger. I teamed up with the artist Felix Talkin to try to visualize the senders of these messages. Their words reveal bits of their identity. Our imaginations fill in the rest.
